Honor Play 30 Plus

Overview

Honor's upcoming smartphone in the entry-level category will be called Honor Play 30 Plus. The device seems average and will apparently have a MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833 chip and a large 5000mAh battery. The display and cameras won't be that great but are likely to be decent.

Design and Display

The Honor Play 30 Plus could feature a 6.74 inch TFT LCDdisplay with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixelsand a pixel density of 260ppi. The display is said to come with a waterdrop notch that has less bezels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device will come with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Cameras

The Honor Play 30 Plus is said to come with a dual-camera system on the back with a 13MP primary wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash. On the front, The device will probably get a 5MP selfie cam. Artificial Intelligence, Auto Flash, Auto Focus, Bokeh Effect, Continuos Shooting, Exposure compensation, Face detection, Geo-tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, Time Lapse, Touch to focus, White balance presets are some of the many features that the camera is likely to support.

Battery and Performance

The Honor Play 30 Plus is said to be embedded with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833 processor and Mali-G57 MC2. The RAM and internal memory of the device could possibly be 4GB and 128GB respectively. The device could also support memory cards as large as 256GB. A large 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery could come with the device. It is said to have fast charging too.

Software and Connectivity

Honor Play 30 Plus is likely to run Magic UI on the top of Android 10 out of the box. The smartphone could get connectivity options like 5G, dual sim VoLTE(Nano + Nano(Hybrid)), Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n, GPS, USB OTG support, and Bluetooth 5.1. In terms of ports selection, the smartphone will probably be getting a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
