LG K62

Overview

After seeing more than just a couple of entry-level K series devices, it seems LG is finally planning to launch a proper mid-ranger from the K series dubbed LG K62. While the price might seem apt for a mid-ranger, the specs actually don't. For starters, we will get to see an HD+ display, an Helio P35 chipset, and a 4000mAh battery. However, the device will pack in a good camera setup.

Design and Display

The LG K62 is touted to sport a 6.6 inch IPS LCD display that will have a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 266ppi. The bezel-less display will feature an immersive punch-hole design and a 20:9 aspect ratio to enhance the overall viewing experience.

Cameras

The LG K62 is expected to house a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra wide angle sensor, a 2MP camera, and a 2MP depth sensor onboard. Speaking of features, the camera will come with support for Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, and Touch to focus.

Battery and Performance

The LG K62 will reportedly be baked with the mid-range MediaTek Helio P35 Octa-Core chipset coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device is expected to get 4GB RAM paired with an internal storage capacity of 128 GB, expandable up to a whopping 2TB. Fuelling the device will reportedly be a huge 4000mAh Li-ion battery.

Software and Connectivity

LG K62 is likely to run Android 10 out of the box. On the connectivity side of things, the smartphone is expected to ship with features like dual sim VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11, ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. Besides, the smartphone will pack in a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and a side mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
