Micromax Canvas Infinity

Micromax, the India-based brand launched its new device dubbed as the Canvas Infinity in September 2017. The USP of this device is its edge-to-edge display which bears an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Display and Design
The Micromax Canvas Infinity features a plastic body with a removable back. On the back is where the primary camera, fingerprint sensor and Micromax brand logo are situated. On the front is where the device's major attraction is placed - the 5.7-inch screen. On top of the screen, a selfie camera and earpiece are located. The 5.7-inch HD display of the Canvas Infinity sports a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels having a pixel density of approximately 279 PPI. The company has named this display as the "Full Vision Display".

Camera
For the shutterbugs, Micromax has integrated this offering with a 13-megapixel primary camera having an aperture of f/2.0 with autofocus coupled with an LED flash for lowlight photography. On the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel selfie camera having an aperture of f/2.0 with autofocus and front-facing LED flash.

Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 from Qualcomm, clocked at 1.4 GHz. The offering also sports an Adreno 308 GPU paired with 3 GB of RAM for a seamless experience. On the memory front, the Canvas Infinity ships with 32 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB through its dedicated microSD card slot.

Battery and Connectivity
To keep the smartphone up and running, Micromax has provided a 2980 mAh Li-ion battery pack which can be swapped by the user. On the connectivity front, the device is capable of supporting Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS and micro USB 2.0 connector.
