Nokia Lumia 925 Features

The Nokia Lumia 925 is a follow-up to the Lumia 920 which was launched in late 2012. The primary differences lie in the design — while the Lumia 920 was criticised for being thick and heavy, the Lumia 925 shaves a considerable amount in both those areas to compete with other slender smartphones. Also, instead of polycarbonate the Lumia 925 is dressed in an aluminium body, that will give it a sturdier and premium feel. The 4.5-inch 720p AMOLED display is kept the same, as such type of displays provide deeper contrast and are typically known to go easy on the battery. The trump card of the Lumia 920 was its 8.7 megapixel camera sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), and good news is — the 925 retains the same. But this handset is short-changed in two departments — there's only 16GB of internal storage (the Lumia 920 had 32GB), with no microSD card slot for expansion.

Also, presumably because of the thinned aluminium based design, the wireless charging feature is now not built-in, but rather can be enabled by snapping a back cover accessory. The phone runs the most recent Windows Phone 8 OS and is powered by the same Qualcomm dual-core 1.5GHz chip and 1GB RAM.
