The phone has a big 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels giving it a pixel density of 401PPI. It is a Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The phone sports a 1.6GHz Octa Core Samsung Exynos 7580 processor and has 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs.
On the front is a 5MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
The A7 (2016) gets a fingerprint scanner on the home button just below the display, a welcome upgrade from last year’s Galaxy A7.
On the back sits a 13MP camera that can record videos up to 1080p and has modes like Panorama, HDR, etc. Also, besides the camera is a Single LED Flash.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) has 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.
It is a Dual SIM device and is 4G enabled with VoLTE support.
The phone runs on Android Lollipop (5.1) out of the box and has already received the Nougat update.
