Samsung Z2

Samsung announced the Z1 and the Z3 in 2015 as the first devices to run their in-house developed Tizen OS. However, due to the poor specifications, overall experience, and Samsung not really taking the developers of apps on board, the Z1 and Z3 were real write-offs. The Z2 is Samsung's third attempt to launch its new device that would run its Tizen OS.

Display

In terms of display, the phone will come with a 4-inch screen having a resolution of 480x800 pixels. Thereby making a decent display to look at.

Camera
The smartphone features the main camera on the rear having a 5MP sensor bearing an aperture of f/2.2. There is also a secondary VGA camera located above the display, on the front side of the device. The front facing camera bears an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera is also capable of capturing HD videos at 1280 x 720 resolution, at 30fps.

Memory

In terms of memory, the Z2 sports 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded through microSD card slot present on the side of the device. In terms of RAM, the offering from Samsung rocks a 1GB RAM that should just suffice its requirements.

Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, the Z2 supports 4G VoLTE and is compatible with Jio. Apart from that, the device also supports 3G and below networks. In terms of data transfer, its micro USB port supports USB 2.0. There also exists the feature of WiFi Direct which enables the device to mirror or transfer data inter devices thanks to the presence of WiFi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz that the Z2 supports.

Battery
Under the hood, the Samsung Z2 rocks a 1500mAh removable battery unit that can be swapped for a new one when it runs out. The battery pack can provide backup for up to 8 hours with use on LTE network.
