Overview
The Mi 11 is the world's first flagship device to come with the Snapdragon 888 chip. Xiaomi is planning to pull off an even interesting device to be named Mi 11 Ultra. The device is said to have a completely new design with a tiny secondary screen on its camera bump. It might very well be a significant step up from the previous editions. The Mi 11 Ultra has a large 5000mAh battery. The device also does great in the display and cameras segment. The cameras however aren't as good as the Mi 11 which is quite understandable given the fact that this is going to be priced significantly lower than the Mi 11.
Design and Display
The Mi 11 Ultra could rock a 6.81 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a pixel density of 515ppi. There will probably be a punch-hole cutout in the display with less bezels. Also, the device is said to come with IP68 water resistance, HDR10+ and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Cameras
The Mi 11 Ultra could possibly have a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP wide angle sensor, a 48MP Periscope sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies, the device is likely to feature a 20MP camera sensor on the front. Features like AF Phase Detection, Auto Flash, Auto Focus, Bokeh Effect, Continuos Shooting, Exposure compensation, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, Touch to focus, White balance presets would be supported by the camera.
Battery and Performance
The Mi 11 Ultra will be embedded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip and an Adreno 660 GPU. The RAM and internal storage of the device is said to stand at 12GB and 256GB respectively. Battery life with this device won't be an issue with the large 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery and fast charging support.
Software and Connectivity
Mi 11 Ultra will come with MIUI on the top of Android 11 out of the box. The smartphone will come with a variety of connectivity options like dual SIM 5G(Nano + Nano), Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. When it comes to ports selection, the device could get a USB Type-C port and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
