Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite

Overview

Redmi plans to launch yet another variant of the Redmi Note 10 called Redmi Note 10 Lite. Reports suggest that this could be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Redmi Note 10 Lite is said to feature a Snapdragon 720G chipset and a large 5020mAh battery. The display and cameras are also expected to be good for the price.

Design and Display

The ​ Redmi Note 10 Lite could feature​ a ​6.67 inch IPS LCD ​display with a resolution of 1080​ x 2400 pixels​ ​and a pixel density of 395ppi. The display might come with a punch-hole​ ​having small bezels making for an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen to body ratio of 84.5%. The device could also have Corning Gorilla Glass.

Cameras

The ​ Redmi Note 10 Lite might have a ​quad-camera system on the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device will probably get a 16MP selfie cam on the front. ​The device could support features like Artificial Intelligence, Auto Flash, Auto Focus, Bokeh Effect, Continuos Shooting, Exposure compensation, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, ISOCELL Plus, Touch to focus, White balance presets.​

Battery and Performance

The Redmi Note 10 Lite ​is said to come embedded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core chip​ and a ​Mali-G76 MC4 ​GPU.​ The RAM and internal storage of the device could be 4GB and 64GB respectively. The device might also support memory cards up to 512GB. A large 5020mAh Li-Polymer battery is expected to come with the device with fast charging inbuilt.

Software and Connectivity

Redmi Note 10 Lite will come with MIUI on top of Android 10 out of the box. The smartphone might a variety of connectivity options like dual SIM 4G(​Nano + Nano)​, ​Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n,​ GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0. In terms of ports selection, the device is likely to have a USB Type-C port, ​a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint scanner placed on the side of the device.
