Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9 has made its way to the Indian market. The device is strictly aimed at midrange consumers who are on a tight budget. Despite the low cost of the device, the device brings some great features like support for reverse charging, splash resistant body and a 48MP quad-camera setup.
Design and Display
The 6.53 inch display on the Redmi Note 9 comes with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and a pixel density of 395ppi. It is an IPS LCD panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The display has a punch-hole cutout which houses the selfie camera whereas the quad rear cameras and the fingerprint sensor are housed in a square mechanism.
Cameras
The Redmi Note 9 has a total of 5 cameras. On the front, the device gets a 13MP selfie shooter. While, the rear features a quad camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
Performance and Battery
The Redmi Note 9 features a Helio G85 chipset under the hood. It is an octa-core CPU coupled with a Mali G52 GPU. This variant of the Redmi Note 9 gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A 5020mAh battery powers with support for fast charging. Surprisingly, it also brings reverse wireless charging which is completely new to the budget segment.

The Redmi Note 9 runs MIUI 11 on top of Android 10. In terms of connectivity, the device has support for dual SIM 4G VoLTE, WiFi , GPS, and Bluetooth 5.1
