Xiaomi Mi Pad 5

Overview

After breaking records in the smartphone industry, Xiaomi could soon unveil one of the most powerful tablets called Mi Pad 5. But, will it prove to be just as good and successful as its smartphones? The device will apparently have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chip and a large 8720mAh battery. The display is expected to be fantastic. The cameras won't be that great though.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 could feature an 11 inch IPS LCDdisplay with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixelsand a pixel density of 274ppi. The tablet is said to rock a beautifully thin design with thin bezels making for a screen-to-body ratio of 83.12% and a great build.

Cameras

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is said to come with a 13MP camera sensor on the back and an 8MP selfie cam on the front. Auto Flash, Autofocus, Continuos Shooting, Exposure compensation, Face detection, Geo-tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, Touch to focus, White balance presets are some of the features that could be supported by the camera.

Battery and Performance

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 could possibly be embedded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor and an Adreno 640GPU. The RAM and internal memory of the device might stand at 6GB and 128GB respectively. A large 8720mAh Li-Polymer battery could come with the device. It is said to have fast charging too.

Software and Connectivity

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is likely to come with Android 11 out of the box and the latest MIUI 12.5. The device could get connectivity options likeWi-Fi a/ac/b/g/n, and Bluetooth. In terms of port selection, the device will probably be getting a USB Type-C port.
