Xiaomi Mi TV 4 55 inch 4K (Ultra HD) LED TV

Xiaomi, the brand popular for its smartphones in the Indian market launched its first TV the Mi TV 4 in February 2018. The Mi TV 4 is a 4k Smart LED TV offered at a very affordable price. It runs on a custom PatchWall OS and has an App store inbuilt. Let’s take a look at what this device has in store for us:

Display & Audio:

The MiTV 4 rocks a 55-inch screen with 4K Ultra HD LED display that provides an immersive viewing experience. The screen resolution measures 3840 x 2160 pixels. The refresh rate of 60Hz lets you change the images on screen smoothly. In terms of video, the supported formats include MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4. For audiophiles, there are two speakers installed on this TV. It is equipped with Dolby and DTS Decoder sound technology. The surround sound produce 16W output with immersive sound experience. There is an equalizer to make any adjustment. The TV supports audio in MP3 formats. 

Dimension & Design:

The MiTV 4 is the world’s thinnest LED TV. It sports a super slim design of 4.9mm and there are very thin bezels on all sides. In terms of dimensions, it measures 1232 x 791.7 x 4.9 mm. On a weighing scale, with the stand it measures 17.8 kg and without the stand it is 17.2 kg. 

Connectivity:

Coming to the connectivity, there are 3 HDMI ports which help you connect gadgets like laptops and gaming consoles. There are 2 USB ports for connecting peripherals and portable devices like keyboards, pendrives etc. Connectivity options also include built-in WiFi to connect to the internet wirelessly, an Ethernet port in case the WiFi stops working. There’s Bluetooth connectivity that lets you share files wirelessly with Bluetooth enabled devices. The smartphone mirroring feature in the television enables you to mirror your phone’s content on the TV screen wirelessly.

Warranty & Package Contents:

In case of any malfunctions, Xiaomi has provided a 1 year warranty on the device from the date of purchase. Inside the sales package along with the TV unit, accessories include a remote control and TV stand.
