Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld has been launched. The brand known for its computer peripherals is entering the gaming segment with the latest offering. The device is the company’s first and long-rumoured handheld gaming console.
The Logitech G Cloud Gaming is made with Tencent Games. It focuses primarily on cloud gaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now. The device will compete against the likes of the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck in the market.

The Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld is a portable gaming console and weighs around 460 grams. It features a 7-inch IPS LCD display bearing an FHD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen offers 450 nits brightness and multi-touch support. The device is equipped with a stereo speaker and a microphone.
The display on the G Cloud Gaming Handheld is surrounded by gamepad-like controls. The setup includes L & R analogue joysticks, bumpers, triggers, option buttons, A/B/X/Y buttons, D-pad, G button, and Home button. The controls are remappable and the device features linear haptics.
Under the hood, the Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld is equipped with a Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver more than 12 hours of usage on a single charge. The handheld gaming console runs on Android 11 with Google Play Store pre-installed. Players can gain access to their favourite console and PC games through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and GeForce Now.
