Jio Phone Next’s price in India has been tipped by tipster Yogesh Brar. Reports have claimed that it will be launching as the most affordable 4G-ready Android smartphone in India. The new leak reveals that the JioPhone Next will be priced well under Rs 4,000 in the country.

Reliance announced the JioPhone Next smartphone through the 44th Reliance’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) back in June. It was revealed at the launch that the company teamed with Google to build the device. It will be available for purchase starting from September 10th in India. The company also plans to sell the smartphone in global markets.

According to the tipster, the JioPhone Next will arrive with an estimated price of Rs 3,499. With this pricing, the handset is expected to debut as the cheapest 4G-ready Android phone in the country. Brar has also shared the key specifications of the smartphone.

The Jio Phone Next will be sporting a 5.5-inch display that offers an HD resolution. The official image of the phone that was showcased during its launch suggested that it may offer an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Snapdragon 215 chipset will be present under the hood of the device.
The handset will feature a front camera of 8-megapixel and a rear camera of 13-megapixel. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh battery. It is expected to arrive in the country in RAM variants like 2GB / 3GB and eMMC 4.5 storage options such as 16GB / 32GB.
The smartphone will run Android 11 (Go edition). A recent leak revealed by XDA Developers’ Mishaal Rahman revealed that it will show the “JioPhone Next Created with Google” text on the boot screen. He also revealed that the device will ship with customized versions of Google Duo Go and Camera Go with Snapchat integration.
